It's not just the quality of my work that sets Cherished Images Photography apart from other photography companies. It's also the creative style that I use that makes my product unique! Each photo captures beauty in it's truest form and helps tell a story about the image displayed. Most of what I do, I have learned on my own. I do not claim to know everything about photography, but I do have an eye for creativity.

This page is designated to you! It can be your reference as we go through your photography experience together! Although this page covers general procedures, each session is assessed on an individual basis.

Booking:    When booking a session, you can send an e-mail to cherishedimages@photographer.net; or call (248) 310-6841. Please allow me 24 hours to correspond with you.

Non-Refundable Deposit:     At the time of your booking, a non-refundable deposit, equal to 50% of your session fee, is due. There are no exceptions. The remainder of your session fee is due before your desired session date. Failure to pay in full will result in cancellation of your photography session until payment is rendered. Dates will not be held or secured without payment of deposit to Cherished Images Photography. **There is also a $25 fee for any returned check.**

Payment:     All invoices will be sent via e-mail, through PayPal. If you do not wish to use this service to complete your payment, you may choose to mail a check or money order. Please contact me for my mailing address.

Location(s):     It is the sole responsibility of the client to obtain permission for professional photography at any site or location. Also, if an entrance fee is required, the client is responsible for paying for themselves, as well as for the photographer. I will travel a 30 mile radius of the zip code "48350," at no charge. A travel fee of $0.56 per mile beyond 30 miles will be applied at the time of booking.

​Additional People:      A typical Family Session includes 6 people. An additional $5.00 per person beyond the allowed 6 people will be assessed at the time of booking.

Confirmation:     I will contact you a couple of days prior to your session to confirm your location(s) and time.

Cancellation/Rescheduling:     A 24-hour notice is required in order to cancel or reschedule a session. Extreme situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The 50% deposit is non-refundable in any situation. If impending weather conflicts with your scheduled session, you will have the opportunity to reschedule your session, with no penalty or additional fees.

​ Additional Time:     Each session consists of an allotted amount of time. Each additional 30 minutes beyond your session time will inquire a fee of $25 for all sessions.

Pose Requests:     If there are specific poses or shots that you would like to try, please let me know. I always honor the requests of my clients!

Facebook:     After your session, please "Like" Cherished Images Photography on Facebook. I will provide one Sneak Peek the night of your session, as well as 5-8 additional Sneak Peeks within the next week. You are more than welcome to tag yourself in these photos, but please leave the watermark intact! 

Proofs:     I will go through the pictures of your session and edit 40-70 final images that will be on your final proofs, which you will receive via Dropbox.com. Every image will be imprinted with my Watermark and can be used to upload on your computer.  All clients are also given the option to purchase the "Print Release" for ALL images. To own the "Print Release" means that you have the right to PRINT my images at the location of your choice. You can also elect for me to send you digital images of your proofs through Dropbox.com.

***As per the Federal Copyright Act, Cherished Images Photography retains the rights to use all photos taken during photo sessions for website display or other advertisement purposes. Those who purchase the copy right of the photos may give written notification to the photographer if they wish their photos not be used.*** The photographer does not release copyright of the photos. The photographer retains ownership of the copyright, but license or authorize the client - and thereby the photo lab - the right to copy the photographs.

***In other words, I am proud of my work, so please do not crop or edit/alter any image in any way, including removing my watermark.***

Placing Orders:     Typically, I have most sessions completely edited within two weeks. However, with busy seasons, it may take a little longer than that. I will inform you upfront if I foresee it taking additional time. Once I am done with your session, I will create an online file through Dropbox.com and send you an e-mail invitation to join the folder.

All orders must be submitted to me via e-mail at the end of those 14 days. It is your responsibility to make sure your order is placed on time. Please notify me immediately if a dire situation occurs and you are unable to view nor order your pictures. If you fail to order before the deadline, a $1.00 fee will be applied to every print that you order.​

Review Your Invoice:     Once I receive your e-mail, I will create an invoice and e-mail it to you via PayPal. PLEASE REVIEW YOUR ORDER. Any discrepancies need to be reported to me immediately. If I proceed to order your products and you end up receiving something that you didn't mean to order, you are liable to pay for products to replace it. So, to make this simple, make sure that you have exactly the right image numbers and sizes listed in your e-mail, and I will order exactly what you want! If you accidentally order something, and did not inform me of your mistake prior to making your payment, it is your responsibility to pay for the replacement product.

Payments:     You are not obligated to pay via PayPal, however, that is the most efficient way for making your payment. If you do not wish to use this service to complete your payment, you may choose to mail a check or money order. Please contact me for my mailing address. Upon receipt of your invoice, your payment is due within four days. Once I receive your payment, I will proceed with your order.

Shipping:      You can pick up your package/prints in person at no charge. If you wish to have your package/prints sent to you by UPS or U.S. Mail, you will be charged for the price of shipping. Standard rates will apply.

 ***Please note that a 6% Michigan sales tax will be applied to all products. Cherished Images Photography reserves the right to adjust prices and packages at any time. If prices are adjusted after you've booked your session, the original rates will still apply and you will not be effected by the new rates.***
